The Twin have undergone some lineup changes since we last heard from them, adding to their core songwriting efforts by layering in Arty Shepherd (Mind Over Matter, Beinn, errortype11) on guitar & backing vocals along with Michael Macivor (Candiria, LaMacchia) on bass. These new faces have given the band more power, adding gracefully to the foundation built by Bryan Louie (Joshua Fit For Battle, Common Sage) and Jeff Gensterblum (Coalesce, Small Brown Bike, Casket Lottery).
Blue Honey is a spectacular step forward for the band; finding additional depth in their sonic output, you'll find that the new album cuts a little deeper while also giving us even greater hooks to sing along to.
For the physical pressing of Blue Honey, we wanted to call back to some of the themes we created with Dead Rose, specifically in how we presented the vinyl. We once again opted to have the jackets printed reverseboard to give them some additional texture and then we added in some white screen printed details to the artwork on top of digitally printed jackets. Just like last time, they are sent to us flat and we folded them up/glued them together and put all of the finishing touches together, one at a time.
