Let us introduce Moraine - an alternative, post hardcore outfit from Baltimore. They've arrived with their debut LP titled Design Build Maintain, which contains seven tracks of slick riffs and catchy vocals. This is an album that wouldn't be out of place on a roster such as Equal Vision Records and we couldn't be happier to present it to you!

Forged from the remains of several other Baltimore-area indie acts such as Solitary Set, Still Mountains, and Old Victrola, Moraine draws influence from the far reaches of 90s alternative rock, emo, and hardcore; their sound is anchored by huge guitars, earnest vocals, and an airtight rhythm section.
Titled Design Build Maintain, Moraine's debut album covers a lot of lyrical territory, spanning topics such as the rampant gun violence in America to the deterioration of relationships due to mental health concerns. Sonically, the album bends genres seamlessly and finds a home base in the post hardcore/alt rock space and wouldn't sound out of place in the early 00's on a label such as Equal Vision or Tooth & Nail.
For the physical pressing of Design Build Maintain, we took the amazing artwork designed by James Walker and added some fun DIY layers! We started by printing the jackets on really sharp reverseboard stock before we hand-printed some metallic gold overlays. For the triple arrow logo, we wanted to add some extra dimension to things, so we printed them directly onto the poly sleeves that protect the records! Each piece was completed by hand for an impressive package in which to hold an incredible record.
