This release literally fell into our lap, and thus can solely be attributed for each and every release that follows it. After a show in Detroit in December of 2008 I found myself giving Kyle a ride back to the band's hotel room because he was ill and wanted to get some rest before they hit the road. Along the way, we began to discuss vinyl and record labels and the fact that at this time they only had one 7" available out of all of the material that they had released. Maybe he was only kidding when he asked if I would be interested in releasing ET records on wax...but too late now if he was!

We cut the jackets that we used for the test presses for this release by hand. We wanted desparately to do as much of this process as we could ourselves without having to outsource anything. The band was gracious enough to autograph all of the test presses, and they were distributed to the band, ourselves, friends/family as well as a couple of different contests for those who preordered the record.

The records themselves turned out beautifully, with the only glitch being the coloring of the "red haze" variation. The plant killed it on about half of the pressing, but the other half had pretty sparse red coloring. Having heard so many horror stories about record pressing plants and delays and unreturned emails, it was very nice that we received everything very quickly and without any problems.

The whole printing process was a beast! There were probably a couple hundred man hours total put into cutting each jacket individually as well as making sure to take into account the countless number of friends and family who were coerced into helping us with the printing process. :) These jackets remained in various stages of completion all over every flat surface of my house for a bit over two months before we finally had them all printed, numbered and inserted into poly sleeves.

Hopefully everyone enjoys listening to this record as much as we did piecing it all together, working with the band and Eulogy, and making this trully come to life. This particular album holds a lot of nostalgia for me, and it's wonderful to finally be able to spin it on a record player.

Pictures coming soon. <3
